Roasted chestnut festival organised by the Alpini Association of Padua
Out of all the typical Christmas scents, the distinctive roasted chestnut aroma is certainly one of the most evocative and appreciated by food-loving people of all generations!
To enjoy this typical Christmas-time flavour, come and join the roasted chestnut festival (“castagnata” in Italian) organised by the Alpini Association of Padua, in Arcella on the 17th and 18th of November. To be precise, the roasted chestnut festival will take place in Piazzetta Buonarroti, from 9 am to 7.30 pm.
An entire day of celebration to taste the so-called “maroni”, but not only that: the roasted chestnut festival, indeed, which is part of the Arcella Handmade celebration programme, will be accompanied by many other fun activities, including homemade crafts, live music, entertainment, and workshops for children.
We look forward to seeing you at Arcella!
