The Christmas in Ghetto celebrations have become a tradition for the city of Padua, and also this year one of the most suggestive areas of Padua will be enlivened by various types of events that will help spreading the Christmas atmosphere on the streets and bars of the district.
The kickoff will be given by a magic show with cards and coins accompanied by readings with the common theme “The Magic of Christmas” on Sunday 8th December at Locanda Pecatorum (Via San Martino and Solferino 28). The events continue on the 15th of December with the wandering elves that will walk down the streets of the ghetto distributing balloons to children, while on the 22nd of December you will have the chance to enjoy the wandering reading of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, accompanied by Christmas choirs. All the events will be held from 5 to 7 pm.
In an event like this, the protagonist of Christmas, Santa Claus, cannot miss! He will arrive in the ghetto on Saturday the 21st and Tuesday the 24th of December, from 5 to 7 pm, at the Locanda Pecatorum. This is where Santa Claus will distribute panettone, mulled wine and Prosecco to passers-by, and give sweets to children.
